Glaswegians’ team effort was a winner at the Games. The triumph of the Commonwealth Games this year in Glasgow was that it advanced from the position that local people should be involved and encouraged at every stage. During the fortnight you could hardly move in the city for banners reminding you that, “People make Glasgow”, printed The Sunday Times.
Taking this theme forward, it can be a task to rouse people from their comfort zones especially in business but it is made easier if individually they feel they are contributing to a common effort. If you can take the time to germinate and generate your team ideas together you might well triumph like Glasgow and create your own banner. The bottom line for our Wild Thinking banner today is, “People make Business”.
