Who: Teams and groups of 8 to 180 people
Format: 2 to 3 hours including review. Can be run in or out of doors
The team’s challenge is to assemble a number of “flat pack” style kits in the quickest time possible. What’s the catch? Smaller groups need to work together to agree one method and then all work together to deliver the same high performance standard.
This is a great activity to explore working together as one bigger team, decision-making and improving performance. It is great fun but a real challenge that always ends with a big finale.
A Wild Thinking facilitator will discuss the activity with you before the day and agree on the key development themes that you would like to focus on. We will then tailor the activity to focus specifically on these key areas.
The group is split into smaller teams, who will then each work on developing their own cunning assembly method. The smaller teams then have to agree amongst themselves on one method and all work together to perfect the approach and reduce their assembly times. The pressure is on and with good communication and focus the group will be able to deliver some spectacular performances.
Fun with a purpose
The activity is then reviewed to see what the participants learned about teamwork, communications, planning and to explore how they can take these insights back to their working environment.
