Who: Teams and groups of 5 to 15 people
Format: 3 to 4 hours including review. Out of doors in a suitable venue only.
Crossing the Great Divide is all about working together to solve a big problem. The team starts the challenge on one side of the river and they need to somehow get themselves safely to the far bank using nothing more than a few ropes – (and a little bit of expert help on hand to ensure that no one gets wet!)
A Wild Thinking facilitator will discuss the activity with you before the day and agree on the key development themes that you would like to focus on. We will then tailor the activity to focus specifically on these key areas.
Crossing the Great Divide needs to be based at the right location. Wild Thinking can advise on suitable venues that will have the right outdoor space but also the indoor facilities for the review session and any other work that the team might be doing on the day.
Fun with a purpose
The activity is then reviewed to see what the participants learned about teamwork, communications, planning and to explore how they can take these insights back to their working environment.
